We are looking to recruit for one of our clients based in Indonesia
SUSTAINABILITY MANAGER
RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow up of the evolution of Indonesia regulations and international standard in relations to his/her scope of work
.Lead the implementation of sustainability strategies, policies and important ESG documentations aligning with the local and international requirements.
.Develop and run systems to make reporting and information sharing more efficient, accurate and impactful.
.Liaise with key stakeholders partners in our sustainability effort, including selecting and managing community investment partners to align with business goal.
.Work with cross-functional Group leaders and committees, and external sustainability consultant(s) to analyse sustainability performance, develop and achieve key performance indicators.
.Facilitate Sustainability Training, audits, inspections, and compliance reporting, and provide post review recommendations and action plans
.Ensure all departments within our client Indonesia in line with E Sustainability standard in particular Procurement Department (to ensure list of potential vendors who align with responsible sourcing principles, as well as providers of sustainability-related services)
.Manage the development of sustainability communications internally and externally
.Create continual educational resources on sustainability issues
.Institutionalise sustainability through documentation and regular review of policies with Group
.Regularly conducting a benchmark survey of industry new practice to develop or to improve sustainable production
.Drive the execution of project plans, working directly with partners, consultants and internal stakeholders to build engagement and trust with the business
.Partner with the Public Affairs and Communications teams to promote our value and commitment to Sustainability across the Group and stakeholders.
PROFILE AND EXPERIENCE
.A minimum of 15 years' professional experience in an ESG/sustainability-related role
.An excellent understanding of global ESG agendas, policies standards (in particular Equator principles and IFC Sustainability Performance Standards; and IRMA standard)
.A good understanding of both the strategic and operational issues relating to ESG
.Experience with ESG due diligence and surveillance process in the frame of Equator Principles project financing.
.Experience in sustainable/green finance will be an asset (e.g. structuring green bonds)
.Sharp analytical and strategic thinking skills
.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
.Excellent management skill
.Multicultural working experience
.Proficiency in English is a must
.Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
.Experience in the development of processes as it relates to sustainability
.Experience with project or program management, particularly with NGO
